1. Agreement to These Terms
When you visit our website, fill out a form, call us, text us, or book a service with My Appliance Guy, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. This means you understand how we operate, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services. These terms are here to protect both you and our business so everything stays clear, fair, and professional.
2. What We Do
My Appliance Guy provides appliance repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and related services. We work on a variety of household appliances and aim to fix issues quickly and correctly.
However, not every appliance can be repaired. Some appliances may be too damaged, too old, or not cost-effective to fix. In those cases, we will explain your options clearly.
3. Scheduling & Appointments
When you schedule an appointment, you agree to provide accurate information about your appliance and your availability. This helps us bring the right tools, parts, and preparation to your service.
You are expected to be present (or have someone present) during the appointment window. If we arrive and cannot access the appliance, a diagnostics fee of $99.00 + tax will be charged.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a cancellation fee of $99.00 + tax.
4. Payments & Charges
Payment is typically due at the time of service unless we agree otherwise in advance. This includes service call fees, diagnostic fees, labor, and any parts used.
We will explain pricing before major work is done whenever possible. However, additional issues may be discovered during repair, which could change the final cost.
If payment is not made, we reserve the right to withhold further service and pursue collection if necessary. Any unpaid balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Ohio law. You agree to reimburse My Appliance Guy for all reasonable costs of collection, including attorney’s fees.
5. Repair Limitations & No Guarantees
While we aim to fix your appliance correctly, we cannot guarantee that every repair will be permanent. Appliances can have multiple issues, hidden problems, or failures that occur later.
We are not responsible for unrelated future failures or issues that were not part of the original service.
6. Warranty (If Offered)
Some services may include a limited warranty on labor or parts. If a warranty is provided, we will explain exactly what is covered and for how long.
Warranty coverage does not apply to misuse, neglect, new damage, or unrelated issues.
7. SMS & Communication Terms
By giving us your phone number, you agree to receive text messages and calls about your service. These messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, and follow-ups.
You may receive about 2–4 messages per appointment, but this can vary depending on your situation.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
8. Your Responsibilities as a Customer
You agree to provide safe and clear access to your appliance. This includes moving obstacles, securing pets, and ensuring the work area is safe.
You should also tell us about any known issues, prior repairs, or unusual behavior of the appliance. This helps us diagnose problems faster and more accurately.
9. Limitation of Liability
We take pride in our work, but we cannot be responsible for every possible outcome. My Appliance Guy is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost time, lost food, property damage unrelated to the service performed, loss of use, or inconvenience.
Our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
10. Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website. This includes attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with its normal operation.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services means you accept those updates.
